I prefer a camera.  Now, in retrospect, I learned so much I wouldn’t mind taking another painting class.  Probably the simplest thing taught was if it’s a great painting, put a frame on it and it’ll be even better.  Unframed works pinned and taped to walls give off a vibe of unfinished business.  The difficult part is it you can’t put any old frame on a great piece of art, it has to be the right frame.  There are so many frame choices out there — unfortunately most of them look almost the same.   So, when I find a frame that suits my style of photography, I’m going to post it.

These would be great for a displaying an image collection at a wedding since most venues will not allow you to drive nails into their walls.
