This was the most beautifully decorated wedding – I couldn’t resist posting a few details shots. I haven’t even gotten to many of the bride and groom, but I can tell already it’s going to be some of my best work yet. Come back in a couple of weeks to see the rest.

I’ve added a new link on the menu bar with pricing information. I’m in the process of building it out so please excuse any spelling and grammar errors. I’m sure there will be quite a few until I’m done. I’ve started with wedding package information but I’ll be adding portrait and other products on a daily basis until it’s complete. Eventually product images will also be included but I still encourage everyone to schedule a consultation to view my work in person.

Soon guest will be able to select a packages and fill out a contract online!

I wasn’t having a good day today … then I went to the shelter. It was so cold I really felt very sorry for these pups. They are indoors, but it’s hard to moderate the temperature because many of them have doggy doors that connect to outside cages. These were covered in plastic but I still needed my jacket and gloves. The poor puppies where very wound up because of the cold. There was no hope of getting them to sit still so I’m actually surprised I managed to pull off a few shots. Most of them look really sad because they wouldn’t perk up their ears for me. After visiting with them I felt much better, at least I have a nice warm home to go to.

I love Thursdays because I get to visit my local SPCA to take the pet of the week photographs for the area newspapers. I’m always amazed at the pet portraits I come back with. Truly incredible animals end up getting dumped at the pound every day. We are lucky to have the SPCA to help them find new homes.

Fall Festival in Ennis, TX

Over the weekend I snapped a few pics of Ennis’s Fall Festival for the Ennis Daily News. It was a nice cool and sunny day to be out with friends and family. I also got to meet with some fund raising organizers for the Ellis County SPCA who had a booth on spay/neuter awareness and shelter adoption. I’m looking forward to setting up my own photo booth at their Howl-o-ween Hustle in a few weeks.
